Job summary

CIRCOR International in Uxbridge, Greater London, is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to develop and optimise CNC programmes for a range of milling centres. The role involves reading engineering drawings, selecting tooling, and collaborating with Production to improve processes.

The position offers a 4-day week (Fridays off) and a comprehensive benefits package including pension and medical insurance. You will join Hale Hamilton (Valves) within the Industrial and Maritime Division.

Qualifications

Proven CNC programming experience with milling.
Offline programming using CAD/CAM and shop-floor support.
Ability to read GD&T on engineering drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
Highly organized and detail-oriented in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain CNC programmes using AlphaCAM.
Create efficient CNC milling programmes for horizontal and vertical machining centres.
Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings, specifications and 3D models.
Select tooling, speeds and feeds to optimise machining performance.
Manufacture components to tight tolerances.
Collaborate with Production and Engineering to improve processes and resolve challenges.
Create, maintain and optimise CNC programmes for a range of machining centres.
Assist the Machine Shop Supervisor with day-to-day activities.
