Job summary

Select Recruitment Specialists Ltd. is seeking a CNC Operator and Programmer in the UK.

You will set up, operate and programme CAD/CAM-based CNC machinery, developing programming knowledge and contributing to continuous improvement across multiple platforms, including flatbed routers and 5-axis centres. You will work with design engineering and production teams to ensure precise machining, safe operation and efficient material utilisation.

Qualifications

• Practical engineering aptitude with experience operating CNC machinery in manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work to precise specifications.
• Experience with CAD/CAM programming and developing programming knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and program CAD/CAM-based CNC machinery.
• Ensure accurate machining and safe operation.
• Optimize material utilisation across flatbed routers, 5-axis centres and XYZ machines.
• Collaborate with design engineering and production teams.
