Job summary

HR GO Group is recruiting for a CNC Programmer in Rochester to take ownership from drawing through to finished part. You will program, set and operate CNC machines with Fanuc controls, ensuring parts meet tight tolerances and quality standards.

The role requires hands-on expertise and the ability to work independently within a small, ambitious team. The position offers a salary of £40,000–£45,000, a standard 8:00am–4:30pm schedule, a workplace pension and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Strong, proven experience in CNC programming, setting and operating.
• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC machines with Fanuc controls.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and use initiative.
• Practical, proactive approach to solving problems and getting work completed.
• Able to balance speed and productivity with accuracy, quality and safe working practices.
• Reliable, hardworking and confident taking responsibility for your work.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC machines to produce precision components.

• Inspect your own work and maintain consistent accuracy throughout production.

The role
