CNC Programmer
Advanced CNC - 3, 4 & 5-Axis Machining
Aerospace - Romford, Essex
Permanent Position
£38,000 - £52,000 + Overtime + Benefits
We’re partnered with a well‑established and well‑invested aerospace precision engineering business based in Romford, supplying complex components into the aerospace sector.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking for an experienced CNC Programmer to join their engineering team and take ownership of programming, process development and manufacturing optimisation.
This is far more than a programme‑writing role. You’ll have genuine engineering input into how complex aerospace components are manufactured, developing machining strategies, tooling, fixtures and processes to achieve first‑time‑right production.
You’ll be responsible for developing and optimising CNC programmes and manufacturing processes across 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining, working closely with Production, Quality and Engineering to ensure components are manufactured efficiently, accurately and consistently.
This isn't simply a role where you'll be handed a drawing and asked to write a programme.
We're looking for a CNC Programmer who understands the bigger manufacturing picture – someone who can develop the machining strategy, solve complex manufacturing challenges and continually look for ways to improve how components are produced.
You’ll be working with advanced 3, 4 and 5‑axis machining, complex aerospace components and tight tolerances, with genuine scope to influence processes, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing standards.
If you're an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a technically challenging role where your engineering knowledge and ideas will genuinely influence production, we'd be interested in hearing from you.
