Job summary

Frontline Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer for milling machines in Nottingham. You will program, set up and operate CNC mills, optimise cycles and inspect first-off components to drawing specifications.

The role requires reading drawings, attention to detail, and effective communication. Experience with CAD/CAM and multiple controls is advantageous; onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create and optimise CNC programmes using CAD/CAM and machine controls
• Produce first-off components to drawing specifications
• Improve existing programmes to reduce cycle times
• Maintain programme documentation and backups
• Set and operate CNC milling machines
• Select tooling, fixtures and workholding
• Manufacture one-off and batch components
• Carry out tool changes and offsets
• Quality check components using verniers, micrometers, bore gauges and height gauges and complete first-off inspections.

Our client is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer on Milling machines to join their growing manufacturing team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone confident in programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components.

Key Responsibilities
