Job summary

Next Generation Ltd. is seeking a CNC Programmer Setter for turning in the UK. The role involves setting and operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, performing offsets and tool changes, and adjusting speeds and feeds to maintain quality.

The successful candidate will have 3–5 years' experience with lathes and Fanuc/Heidenhain controls, plus strong attention to detail and the ability to manage cycle times across multiple machines.

Job Title: CNC Programmer Setter - Turning

Contract: Permanent

Hourly rate: £18.50 - £20.00 per hour

Working Hours: Monday – Friday (Days)

Due to expansion, Next Generation are currently recruiting for a CNC Programmer - Turner to work with a leading global manufacturer who produce machined components supplying predominantly into the Aerospace 3industry.

Duties of the CNC Programmer - Turner:

• Setting & Operating CNC lathes using Fanuc controls
• Carrying out offsets & tool changes
• Altering speeds and feeds
• Running multiple lathes at any one time
• Monitoring cycle times
• Basic machine maintenance

The successful candidate for the CNC Programmer – Turners position will have the following experience:

• 3 – 5 years' experience Setting & Operating Lathes (Essential)
• 3 – 5 years' experience within Fanuc or Heidenhain controls (Essential)
