Job summary

The Best Connection Tamworth are currently recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer to join a well-established engineering company in Atherstone. This CNC Programmer role is within the manufacturing industry, offering a late shift pattern and long-term stability.

You will work on CNC milling with Heidenhain controls, read engineering drawings, and produce precision parts from stainless steel, aluminium and cast iron, with a 4-day week (39 hours) and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Programmer.
• Experience with Heidenhain control systems.
• Background working with medium to large fabrications and castings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines (Heidenhain)
• Online programming using Heidenhain control systems
• Working with universal bed-type milling machines and heads
• Machining components from stainless steel, aluminium, mild steel, and cast iron
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Producing parts to tight tolerances and specifications
• Completing your own quality inspections
• Safely using overhead cranes where required

• Monday - Wednesday: 16:00 - 02:00
• Thursday: 15:00 - 00:00
