Job summary

Rachel Hill Resourcing is seeking a Production Operative in the United Kingdom on a temp-to-perm basis, focusing on operating CNC cutting machinery and performing assembly tasks to high quality standards.

You will read technical drawings, set up CNC machines, perform quality checks, and maintain a safe, organized workspace while collaborating with the production team to meet targets. Hours are Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating CNC cutting machines.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Experience working in assembly or manufacturing environments.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Good practical skills and mechanical awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently.
• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate CNC cutting machinery.
• Set up and make adjustments to CNC machines when required.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Perform accurate assembly work to a high standard.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure precision and consistency.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work closely with the production team to meet targets and deadlines.
