Job summary

Evo Personnel is recruiting a skilled Machine Operator to join a busy UK manufacturing site. You will set up and operate CNC and production machinery, reading engineering drawings and ensuring accurate measurements.

Working in a small production team, you will produce small to medium batches, perform quality checks, and report any issues. The role requires reliability, attention to detail and a commitment to Health & Safety, with rotating day shifts and 34 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Previous Machine Operator experience in manufacturing/engineering.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and interpreting measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and production machinery.
• Use machine software and controls.
• Produce small to medium components from drawings.
• Manufacture small to medium production batches.
• Maintain accurate measurements and tolerances.
• Carry out regular quality checks on finished components.
• Identify and report production or quality issues.
• Ensure targets and quality standards are met.
• Collaborate with the manufacturing team.
• Keep work area clean, organised and safe.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and PPE.
