Job summary

SER Limited in Yorkshire is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support customers with CNC machining and metalworking insights. You will focus on process improvements, cost savings, and better manufacturing solutions, rather than selling CNC machines outright.

The role requires strong tooling knowledge and a background in manufacturing, with hybrid working in Yorkshire. A company car is included as part of the compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC machining and tooling applications.
• Background in manufacturing, production or process engineering.
• Customer-facing engineering or technical sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements, cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Conduct cutting tool trials and recommend tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Support CNC machining optimisation across milling and turning.
• Develop existing customer accounts and win new business.
• Support and develop the Field Sales team with technical expertise.
• Work with strategic tooling and manufacturing suppliers.
