Job summary

M-Tec Engineering Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled CNC Engineer to join our high-volume UK facility. You will work on aluminium diecast components using high-speed 5-axis machines, ensuring efficient production, quality, and process improvement.

The role requires apprenticeship-based training or formal college certification, with hands-on CNC programming and setting experience in a production environment. You will engage in TPM/5S, tooling, and on-machine safety practices.

Qualifications

Experience in machining aluminium diecast components.
Proven CNC machine programming and setting in production.
Apprentice-served or formal college certification required.

Responsibilities

Support production on a daily basis.
Run CNCs and monitor machine performance, fault-finding and Diagnostics.
Maintain hydraulic fixture operation, clamping repeatability and machining position to casting.
Change tools, track tool life, investigate tool breakages.
Monitor part quality and adjust offsets to improve process capability.
Develop and maintain process documentation and assist in SWI generation.
Set procedures and standards; drive TPM and 5S.
Train and mentor others on safe and correct operation.
