Job summary

KNDS UK is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to support manufacturing maintenance, improve asset availability and ensure adherence to the Agility Maintenance schedule. You will perform planned, preventive and reactive maintenance on CNC equipment, PLCs and drives, while documenting tasks and driving root-cause analysis.

The role requires electrical/mechanical skills, H&S training, and a proactive, collaborative approach to maintaining high OEE.

Qualifications

• Multi skilled technician/engineer with electrical bias.
• Experience in manufacturing maintenance and CNC equipment is preferred.
• Recognised H&S training and competence.

Responsibilities

• Support weekly asset/equipment schedule to ensure availability.
• Transition from reactive to planned preventive maintenance.
• Fault diagnostics for CNC equipment and PLC/inverters/drives.
• Record feedback on tasks, parts used and safety concerns.
• Lead problem-solving to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Collaborate with line managers to improve maintenance strategy.
