Job summary

Kinetic plc is seeking an experienced Plasma Operator to join a busy workshop in Rochdale. The role involves setting, editing and operating a CNC Plasma Cutting Machine against product drawings and the production plan.

Applicants should have CNC Plasma Cutting experience, be able to read drawings and measurements, and work reliably in a team with good numerical skills. Immediate start with temp-to-perm potential and overtime available.

Qualifications

• Have previous CNC Plasma Cutting experience.
• Understanding of setting, basic editing and operating.
• Be able to work accurately from measurements and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Setting, editing and operating CNC Plasma Cutting Machine.
• Cutting components from aluminium, stainless steel and other sheet metals.
• Marking out, measuring and setting reference points.
• Reading job sheets and drawings for production.
• Checking finished components for accuracy and quality.
