Thurlow Resource Solutions is partnering with a specialist manufacturer to recruit a CNC Machinist. You will set and operate CNC lathes or mills, ensuring parts meet drawings and deadlines while maintaining safe, efficient operations.
The role requires minimum supervision, adherence to ISO9001, and active involvement in lean manufacturing and continuous improvements within a busy production environment.
We are delighted to be working with a specialist manufacturer that operates globally producing bespoke products. Reporting to the Workshop Manager you will set and operate the CNC machines in a safe and competent manner and to work as part of a team ensuring that production schedules for the Machine Shop are met.
After your initial training on days, you will move onto a weekly rotating double day shift below:
Ideally you will have at least 3 years machining experience working in a similar industry with an understanding of producing and measuring precision components to tight tolerances, including the principles of G code CNC programs (Fanuc).
