Job summary

Winncare UK in Bradford is seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join the foam conversion production team. You will operate foam & cover CNC cutting machinery to manufacture foam mattresses, covers, components to specification, and support other production activities.

The role requires careful attention to detail, ability to work to tight tolerances, and willingness to train in other areas; FLT licence desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery within a manufacturing environment with the ability to set up, operate, monitor and adjust CNC cutting equipment to meet production requirements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to consistently produce high quality products to tight tolerances; understanding of machine operation, maintenance checks and fault reporting procedures.
• Ability to conduct quality inspections and identify defects or non-conformances; flexible to support other production areas including gluing, bandknife cutting, de-foaming, packing and assembly.
• FLT licence desirable; training opportunities available for the right candidate.
• Good verbal communication, flexible approach to work and experience of working in a busy team; timekeeping and attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the wider team to support continued quality of product, cost efficiencies and achieving KPIs.
• Contribute to and improve the consistent delivery of high standards and process development within production and manufacturing operations.
• Adhere to all Company standards of conduct and deliver works in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Any other task for which the postholder is qualified and experienced to undertake.
