Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a motivated CNC Operator to join the Stroud-based Machine Shop on a night shift. You will operate CNC machines, read engineering drawings and ensure high-quality work in a safe, efficient environment.

This role offers a competitive salary with strong overtime rates and quarterly bonus opportunities for reliable delivery and continuous improvement in production targets.

You will work closely with Team Leaders and colleagues to maintain production schedules.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operating experience in manufacturing
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Basic CNC programming knowledge desirable
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Engineering qualification, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines within the production cell.
• Complete daily machine checks and maintain accurate production documentation.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Inspect and stamp completed work to quality standards.
• Report non-conformances and support continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area.
• Work closely with Team Leaders and colleagues to meet production targets and delivery schedules.

We are looking for a motivated CNC Operator to join our client's Machine Shop team in Stroud. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with CNC machining experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work in a safe and efficient manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
