Job summary

Contract Personnel is seeking a reliable CNC Operator to operate CNC machinery on aluminium components. This temp to perm opportunity offers training and a pathway to a permanent role after a successful probation period.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:00, with weekly pay and a supportive team environment. Initial training is provided, with emphasis on accuracy, safety, and following set programmes to produce parts that meet specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous CNC operating experience is essential.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow set programmes.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Loading aluminium parts onto the CNC machine.
• Selecting and inputting the correct programmes from an organised folder.
• Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Ensuring components are machined accurately and meet quality standards.
• Checking finished parts for defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
• Any other duties as required.

Shift pattern:

• Monday to Friday
