Market 36 Recruitment are recruiting for a CNC Operative to join our client's engineering and manufacturing team in Witham, Essex. You will operate CNC machinery and handle components to exacting tolerances.

The role requires reading drawings, using verniers and micrometers, and performing quality checks. You will work Monday to Friday, day shift, with overtime available. Reliability and willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings.
• Proficient use of measurement tools for quality checks.
• Diligence with attention to detail in production processes.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload components into CNC machines.
• Follow engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Carry out basic machine adjustments as required.
• Change tools and assist with tool changes.
• Use measuring equipment to check components.
• Complete quality checks throughout production.
