Job summary

ASC Connections in Worcester is seeking a Production Operative for a days-based role with generous overtime. You will operate CNC and production machinery to manufacture bespoke products and monitor performance.

You will load materials, read production drawings, perform quality checks with measuring equipment, and adjust tooling where required while maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery.
• Experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• A good eye for detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work overtime during busy periods.

Responsibilities

• Operating CNC and production machinery to manufacture bespoke products.
• Loading materials and monitoring machine performance.
• Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment.
• Reading and following production drawings and job sheets.
• Changing tooling and making basic machine adjustments where required.
• Working closely with colleagues to meet production schedules.
• Maintaining high housekeeping and health & safety standards.
