Gap Personnel Limited is supporting a client on the Wrexham Industrial Estate to recruit CNC Setter Operators. The role involves setting up machines, maintaining Lean manufacturing standards, and ensuring accurate production paperwork.

Ideal candidates will have CNC and metalworking experience, a qualification in CNC engineering, and the ability to work shift patterns as shown. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers a clear path to permanent employment.

Qualifications

• Experience with Lathes and Milling machines in a CNC environment.
• Background of working with CNC machines and metal.
• Team player with a CNC engineering qualification.
• Willing to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines with maximum efficiency.
• Responsible for efficient production including multi-manning of machinery.
• Ensure all production paperwork is completed.
• Maintain Lean Manufacturing environments in the department.
• Attend training and development courses.
• Maintain gauging and measuring equipment.

Your duties

• Responsible for efficient production to include the multi-manning of machinery
• Ensure all production paperwork is completed
• Maintain the Lean Manufacturing environments operating in the department
• Attend training and developing courses
• Maintain gauging and measuring equipment

Skills

• Proven experience of working with Lathes and Milling machines
• Must have a background of working with CNC machines and with METAL
• Team Player and have a qualification within CNC Engineering
• Be able to work shifts

This is a temp to perm role

• 0600-13.30 Monday to Friday week 1
• 13.15-2100 Monday to Thursday, 13.15-19.45 Friday - Week 2

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidates

£17.16 per hour INCLUDING shift allowance
