Job summary

Gap Personnel Limited is assisting a client on the Wrexham Industrial Estate by recruiting CNC Setter Operators. The role focuses on setting up machines for maximum efficiency, with multi-manning of machinery and maintaining Lean practices.

The ideal candidate has proven experience with Lathes and Milling machines, CNC metalworking, and a CNC Engineering background. This is a temp-to-perm position with fixed shift patterns and an hourly rate of £17.16 including shift allowance.

• Willingness to work shifts.

Your duties

• To set up machines with maximum efficiency
• Responsible for efficient production to include the multi-manning of machinery
• Ensure all production paperwork is completed
• Maintain the Lean Manufacturing environments operating in the department
• Attend training and developing courses
• Maintain gauging and measuring equipment

Skills

• Proven experience of working with Lathes and Milling machines
• Must have a background of working with CNC machines and with METAL
• Team Player and have a qualification within CNC Engineering
• Be able to work shifts

This is a temp to perm role

• 0600-13.30 Monday to Friday week 1
• 13.15-2100 Monday to Thursday, 13.15-19.45 Friday - Week 2

This is a temp to perm role for the right candidates

£17.16 per hour INCLUDING shift allowance
