Job summary

East Kilbride, Scotland – A1 Jobs Ltd seeks a CNC, Beam Saw & Edgebander Operative to manufacture furniture components.

You will read drawings, set up CNC machines, and operate beam saws and edgebanders to ensure precise cutting and finishing. Maintain equipment, perform quality checks, and keep production records while following health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpreted technical drawings, cutting lists, and production specifications.
• Conducted routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and safety inspections to maximise efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Maintained accurate production records and reported any faults or material shortages.
• Followed health and safety procedures, maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
• Assisted with material handling, stock control, and loading/unloading of materials when required.
