CNC Operator

Job Title: CNC Operator, CNC Machinist, CNC Miller

Salary: £29,900 (£26,000 + shift allowance of £3,900)

Location: BS11 Avonmouth

Type: Permanent

Hours: 37.5 hours/week, Shifts: 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday

Established production engineering company in Avonmouth is recruiting for a CNC Operator/Machinist/Miller to work in a small team reporting to the CNC Supervisor.

Responsibilities include:

1. Performing CNC machining, milling, drilling, and skimming of metal
2. Working with proven programs
3. Operating Fanuc controls
4. Changing tooling and basic settings
5. Working with raw materials according to engineering drawings and dimensions

Ideal candidates will have:

1. Production background in an engineering environment
2. Qualifications or training in CNC operation and machining
3. Relevant work experience in CNC roles, including turning or drilling, with transferable skills
