Job summary

Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced CNC Operator for our Kidderminster base. The role involves operating 3-axis Hurco and Haas CNC machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances.

You will load/unload, set up, read engineering drawings, conduct in-process quality checks, and maintain a safe, clean work area in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience operating Hurco and/or Haas CNC machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate 3-axis Hurco and Haas CNC machines to produce components.
• Load and unload machines.
• Set up machinery and adjust parameters for production.
• Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and ensure conformance.
• Follow health and safety guidelines and maintain clean workstation.

CNC Operator – Kidderminster

Salary: £16.00 per hour

Location: Kidderminster

Job Type: Full-Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Kidderminster.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating 3-axis Hurco and Haas CNC machines, producing high-quality components to specification while maintaining excellent standards of accuracy and quality.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operating 3-axis Hurco and Haas CNC machines
• Loading and unloading machines
• Setting and operating machinery to produce components
• Checking finished components using measuring equipment
• Reading and working from engineering drawings
• Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following company procedures and health & safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Experience with Hurco and/or Haas machines would be highly beneficial
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Good understanding of CNC manufacturing processes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Reliable and able to work independently
