Job summary

The Collective Network Limited is recruiting a CNC Offline Programmer - Hypermill in Northampton. You will program complex 1-off parts and larger batches, focusing on accuracy of tooling, toolpaths, speeds and feeds.

Experience with Hypermill is preferred but Siemens NX also considered. 3-5 years in a precision engineering environment and a strong understanding of GD&T and 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining will help you succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a precision engineering environment.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software – Hypermill is an advantage, Siemens NX also considered.
• Solid knowledge of 3, 4 and 5 axis machining, plus a strong understanding of GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Program complex 1-off parts and larger batch jobs.
• Speak with machinists to ensure programs are precise and running smoothly.
• Assist with setting up templates and tooling databases for future efficiency.
