Job summary

Optical Precision in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced CNC Miller to program, set and operate 3- and 5-axis mills. The role requires offline programming via HyperMill and familiarity with Fanuc or Hurco controls.

You will contribute to tight tolerance batch work for aerospace and automotive components, with dayshift hours and a competitive hourly rate (£20–£22) plus overtime and benefits. On-site role based in Bletchley.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter Operator required.
• Offline programming experience via HyperMill is essential.
• Experience using Fanuc or Hurco controls.
• Ability to machine to tight tolerances in small to medium batchwork.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC mills (Fanuc or Hurco).
• Perform offline programming with HyperMill.
• Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality across parts.
