H.R. Smith (Technical Developments) Limited in Hereford is seeking a CNC Machine Centre Setter/Operator to work closely with the Machine Shop Manager and team to set up and run CNC milling machines and CNC lathes for parts manufacture to the required standards.

The role involves following process instructions, accurate measurement prior to first off, and paperwork; the company offers bonuses, holidays, life insurance, and a health and wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• Set and operate CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture parts.
• Use correct materials and work to required standards.

Responsibilities

• Follow the process flow to manufacture machined parts.
• Set machine centres with correct tooling and work holding features.
• Accurately measure dimensions prior to first off inspection.
• Complete works order paperwork.
• Follow company standards (Workshop Practices, Drawing Office Instructions).
• May drive a company vehicle when on business.
