MTS Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced CNC Milling/Turning Programmer – Setter – Operator to join a precision engineering company in Romford. You will work on high‑quality, technically advanced components in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment with focus on precision and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• CNC Milling/Turning experience essential.
• Reading engineering drawings is required.
• GibbsCAM programming knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop efficient and cost‑effective manufacturing processes.
• Create and optimise CNC programs using GibbsCAM.
• Offline programming for 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC machinery.
• Produce setup sheets, tooling plans and tool definitions.
• Prove out and introduce new programs into production.
• Select suitable cutting tools and machining strategies.
• Manage tooling, gauges and work‑holding requirements.
• Deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Support continuous improvement and problem‑solving initiatives.
