Job summary

Omega Resource Group in Dartford is seeking a CNC Milling setter/operator for a permanent role. You will set up and run 5-axis milling machines with Fanuc controls to manufacture precision components. The role is 39 hours per week, Mon-Thu, with a shift pattern and a salary of £64,584 per year. Benefits include 25 days leave, pension, bonus schemes, and overtime. You should be apprentice trained or time-served, with experience reading drawings and measuring parts.

Qualifications

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc or Haas controls.
• Apprentice trained or time served in CNC milling.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC 5-axis Milling machines with Fanuc controls.
• Work from technical engineering drawings to produce precision parts.
• Work with aluminium and stainless steel materials.
• Use gauges, verniers and micrometres to verify parts.
• Ensure quality through part inspection and measurement.
