Job summary

The Recruitment Fix Limited is seeking an apprenticeship-trained CNC Miller to join a busy specialist engineering company in Hyde. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis as required, read and interpret engineering drawings, and create or load programmes for production.

Ideal candidates will have apprenticeship training and experience in a high-demand engineering environment, ready to contribute to accurate part manufacture and efficient setup routines.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship-trained CNC Miller required.
• Experience in a busy specialist engineering environment preferred.
• Ability to set up and operate CNC milling machines across 3-, 4-, and 5-axis where applicable.

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (3-axis, 4-axis, or 5-axis as applicable)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Create part programmes when necessary
• Load programs, set tool offsets, and perform test runs
