Job summary

Collide Technical in Poole, Dorset, is seeking a Semi-Skilled CNC Miller to join their growing team. You will set and operate CNC milling machines, read engineering drawings, and ensure quality while maintaining 5S in the workshop. The role offers overtime and opportunities for training and development in a structured, quality-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC milling (setting and/or operating).
• Familiarity with FANUC controls is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience using inspection equipment.
• Reliable, detail-focused approach.
• Willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines (FANUC Oi-MF control system)
• Producing components in line with engineering drawings and specifications
• Tool setting and making offset adjustments
• Inspecting your own work in line with drawing and SPC requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised work area in line with 5S standards
• Ensuring consistent quality and adherence to production targets
