Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller / Programmer Setter Operator.
• Strong experience with Heidenhain controls.
• Previous 5-axis milling experience.
• Experience working with larger components.
• Good understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication skills and a reliable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Online programming using Heidenhain controls.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Selecting tooling and optimising machine setups.
• Machining large and complex components.
• Inspecting and measuring your own work.
• Working to tolerances specified on engineering drawings.
• Maintaining high standards of quality and achieving right-first-time production.
• Supporting continuous improvement and efficient manufacturing.
