Job summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer just outside Salisbury. The role targets an experienced 3-axis CNC Miller ready to advance into 4- and 5-axis programming within a progressive engineering environment.

The successful candidate will program, set and operate single, twin-pallet, and multi-pallet 4- and 5-axis CNC machines, contributing to end-to-end production and high-precision components. Training is available, with exposure to Fanuc, Edgecam, Mastercam, and LaserWeb.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating 3-axis CNC mills and developing into multi-axis (4- to 5-axis) programming.
• Proven track record with high-precision components in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Fanuc controls and CAM software is advantageous; training available.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate CNC milling machines (single, twin-pallet, multi-pallet).
• Contribute to end-to-end production lifecycle and precision component quality.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Milling Programmer to join our well respected client based just outside of Salisbury. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced 3-axis CNC Miller who is looking to further develop into 4- and 5-axis programming within a progressive and forward-thinking engineering environment. Of course we are also keen to speak with anyone who already has 4-5 plus axis experience.

The successful applicant will play a key role in the production of high-quality precision components, taking responsibility for programming, setting, and operating single, twin-pallet, and multi-pallet 4 and 5 axis CNC machines and be involved in the end to end production lifecycle.

If you have any previous experience with Fanuc Controls, Edgecam, Mastercam, LaserWeb software would be great, although not essetial as full training is available.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a range of advanced CNC Machining centres as well as gain experience on 4 and 5 axis machines working on various high-temperature alloys and other metals on diverse and technically challenging projects within a well respected and rigorously accurate environment
