Job Title: CNC Milling Operator

Position: Full-time onsite in Whetstone, Leicestershire (own transport is advisable)

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Our client is looking to recruit a candidate with experience working on a CNC machine (milling or turning) in a precision engineering environment.

Shift details: 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 (Friday 06:00 - 13:00 / 13:00 - 20:00). Due to the shift pattern and location, a driver is preferred. Weekends are paid at time and a half and are only scheduled based on workload.

Job Purpose

The role involves working in, or having a good understanding of, two or more departments within the fabrication area, acquiring skills, knowledge, and experience of applicable technologies and principles to work mainly unsupervised.

Your duties will primarily be completed independently, following standard operating procedures and work instructions. You will participate in continuous process improvements as a team member or under the direct supervision of your team leader or manager.

You should consistently demonstrate high efficiency and quality in your work, minimizing scrap and rework.
