Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a CNC Miller/Turner/Programmer/Operator in Redruth, Cornwall. The role offers £19.00–£20.00 per hour plus 10 hours overtime with an OTE of £45,000, plus pension and 28 days annual leave.

You will program, operate and troubleshoot advanced machines for defence, aerospace, automotive, nuclear and marine sectors. You will work on state-of-the-art milling/turning machines, ensuring products meet exacting standards and specifications while supporting production

Qualifications

• Experience programming and operating CNC Milling/Turning machines.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Experience with fast-paced precision production environments.

You will work on Milling / Turning machines programming and operating ensuring production lines are kept operational and all products are to the required standards.

In this role you will be responsible for program, operate and trouble shoot various state of the art machines creating products for multiple industry's including defence, nuclear, automotive and marine. You will be responsible for ensuring all products are made to the right specifications and quality, and production lines are kept operational.

This role would suit an experienced CNC Machinist or similar who is ready to join a company who supports their employees into senior / management roles whilst benefitting from uncapped overtime so you can greatly increase your OTE.
