Job summary

Search Consultancy LTD in Aberdeen is recruiting for an experienced CNC Machinist (Miller/Turner) to join a growing team. This permanent role offers pay circa £17-£20 per hour DOE, with overtime available and 39 hours per week.

You will read and interpret engineering drawings, set up and programme machines, and aim for high-quality finishes on carbon and steel components while adhering to HSEQ standards.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Machining and programming skills essential.
• Good understanding of achieving specific finishes.
• Knowledge of machining carbon and steel.
• At least 5 years of experience in this type of position.
• Provide a minimum of 1 professional reference relevant to the job.

Search are working with their client based in Aberdeen (AB12), who are looking for experienced and competent CNC Machinists to join their growing team!

Job title: CNC Miller / Turner

Pay rate: DOE (circa £17-20p/h) / plus overtime!

Working hours: 39hrs per week, plus overtime

Start date: ASAP

Contract: Permanent

Duties

• Manufacture company parts in an efficient manner, ensuring high quality.
• Ensure you are working in line with HSEQ regulations and other company standards.
• Programme and set up machines - this is an essential part of the role, must have proven experience
• Adhere to target times and ensure these are met or bettered
• Being aware of your own and others around you health and safety - report anything that doesn't seem right
