Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3-axis CNC milling machines using Siemens controls.
• Machine precision components to micron-level tolerances, including bespoke parts to one-third of a micron.
• Handle components ranging from 25 kg to 2.5 tons.
• Read and interpret complex engineering drawings.
• Perform in-process inspections and final quality checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Adhere to strict quality, health, and safety standards.

Pay Rate:

£18.00 per hour (DOE)

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:30am - 4:30pm
Friday: Early finish at 12:00pm

The role involves working in a high-precision environment producing components consistently to micron tolerances, including bespoke work to one-third of a micron. Components vary in size and weight from 25 kg up to 2.5 tons.
