Job summary

Optical Precision in Maldon is seeking a skilled CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter to join a fast-paced, precision machining facility. You will program, set and operate milling machines using Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill controls to produce small batch parts to tight tolerances.

Applicants should have experience delivering high precision components in AS9100 environments, ideally with an apprenticeship or time-served background, and show strong teamwork in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter using Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill controls.
• Must have experience with working to tight tolerances to AS9100 standards.
• Ideally apprentice trained/time served engineer.
• Good teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines on Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill Controls.
• Machining to very tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
