Job summary

Optical Precision in Maldon is seeking a CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter with experience in Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill controls to join a precision machining team.

You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances and AS9100 standards, producing small-batch components for aerospace and automotive sectors. The role offers dayshift hours with overtime and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experienced CNC Miller Programmer Setter using Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill controls.
• Must have experience working to tight tolerances to AS9100 standards.
• Ideally apprentice trained/time served engineer.
• Good teamwork skills.

The Role - CNC Miller, Programmer, Setter

As a successful CNC Miller you'll be responsible for manufacturing small batch parts and components to tight tolerances.

Duties

• Program, Set and Operate CNC Milling Machines on Heidenhain or Siemens Shopmill Controls.
• Machining to very tight tolerances and ensuring quality.
