Job summary
Robertson Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Miller & Programmer for a well-established client in Mansfield. This hands-on role involves programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce precision components in a clean, well-equipped environment.
You will programme and modify existing cycles, read engineering drawings, and select tooling. Essential experience includes CAD/CAM programming and setting, with opportunities for overtime on occasion.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as CNC Miller.
- CAD/CAM programming experience.
- Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
- Programming and operating CNC milling machines.
- Produce first-off components to engineering drawings.
- Modify and improve existing programmes to reduce cycle times and improve efficiency.
- Maintain programme documentation and backups.
- Select appropriate tooling and fixtures.
- Manufacture one-off and batch components to tight tolerances.
- Carry out tool changes, offsets and machine adjustments.
