Overview

CNC Miller Programmer. Location: Royston, Hertfordshire. Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE). Hours: Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:00pm, Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm.

Based in Royston, Hertfordshire, we operate with state-of-the-art CNC machinery and a commitment to precision engineering with quality at its heart.

Responsibilities
  • Program, set, and operate 3–4 axis CNC milling machines (Fusion 360 and Siemens controls).
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and CAD/CAM data.
  • Produce precision components to exact specifications, ensuring quality standards are consistently met.
  • Work with a variety of materials for customers across multiple industries.
  • Carry out first-off inspection and make necessary adjustments.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Support continuous improvement and contribute to problem-solving within the workshop.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer (minimum 3–5 years in a similar role).
  • Proficient in Fusion 360 and Siemens controls.
  • Strong knowledge of 3–4 axis machining.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and models.
  • Experience producing components for varied industries.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to quality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
