WF Tech in Slough is seeking a CNC Miller Programmer Setter/Operator for an on-site, full-time role. You will create programs using Fusion360, set up and operate 4- and 5-axis Haas mills, and ensure parts meet exact customer drawings and tolerances.

The position involves machining steel, aluminium, and plastics with a flexible 40-hour week, and offers a competitive salary and opportunities for skill development in a growing manufacturing environment.

Formación

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (HAAS).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately.
• Experience with Fusion 360 & SolidWorks for CAD/CAM.

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with quality control procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Creating programs from customer drawings with Fusion360.
• Set up and operate Haas Mills to perform machining operations on steel, aluminium and plastics.
• Interpret engineering drawings and determine machining operations and setup requirements.
• Adjust machine settings and tool offsets to maintain quality and consistency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, troubleshoot issues and perform routine maintenance.

Due to significant growth, we have a vacancy for a CNC Miller Programmer Setter/ Operator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Programmer / Setter/ Operator. The role involves creating programs with Fusion360, setting up and operating 4 & 5 axis Haas CNC Mills ensuring the quality of machined parts, and interpreting technical drawings. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts according to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC machines (Preferably HAAS)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and work with precision tools
• Knowledge of machining processes and quality control procedures
• Experience using Fusion 360 & Solidworks for CAD and CAM
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment

Key Responsibilities

• Creating programs from customer drawings with Fusion360
• Set up and operate Hass Mills to perform various machining operations on a range of materials, including steel, aluminium, and plastic.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining operations and set-up requirements.
• Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
• Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, such as micrometres and gauges, to ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
• Adhere to safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment
