Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator in Abingdon, Oxfordshire. You will program, set and run 3-, 4- and 5-axis machines to produce high-value components from technical drawings, with strict quality standards.

The role requires strong Heidenhain or Fanuc experience and the ability to online program at the machine, plus the capability to inspect your work and contribute to continuous improvement. GBP20-23 per hour plus overtime and benefits.

Competenze

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines.
• Strong background in 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling with quality-focused output.
• Experience with Heidenhain or Fanuc controls is essential.

Abingdon, Oxfordshire (Commutable from Oxford, Didcot, Wantage, Witney)

£20 - £23 per hour + Overtime + Benefits Full-time / Permanent

Are you an experienced CNC Miller with programming, setting and operating experience looking to join a modern precision engineering business?

This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value components for sectors including scientific, medical, semiconductor and nuclear. You'll be working within a well-invested machine shop featuring modern CNC machinery, CMM inspection equipment and a supportive management team.

The company is known for its high standards, organised working environment and ongoing investment in technology. This role would suit a CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong Heidenhain or Fanuc experience and a background in 3+ axis machining.

The Role

• Programme, set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls


• Manufacture large, precision-engineered components from technical drawings to strict quality standards


• Inspect and verify your own work, producing documentation and supporting continuous improvement activities

The Person

• Experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator with the ability to online programme at the machine


• Strong background in 3-axis milling as a minimum, with 5-axis machining experience highly desirable


• Proficient with Heidenhain controls, with Fanuc knowledge and experience machining large precision components advantageous
