Job summary

A leading rubber and plastics engineering firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Engineering CNC Miller to join their heavy manufacturing operation. You will program complete jobs, reading engineering drawings and setting up HEIDENHAIN controlled machines.

A can-do attitude and reliable work ethic are essential. Initial days are dayshift for a couple of months before transitioning to nights (Mon-Thu, 6pm-6am, 40 hours).

Qualifications

• Experience programming complete jobs from engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of HEIDENHAIN controls.
• Heavy manufacturing background.
• Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Program CNC milling jobs from engineering drawings.
• Set up and run HEIDENHAIN-controlled machines.
• Maintain quality and on-time production in heavy manufacturing.

We are now looking for them Engineering CNC Miller

With Heavy Manufacturing background

Experienced Programmer using HEIDENHAIN controls

You will need to be able to program complete jobs, working from engineering drawings.

The successful candidate will have a can-do attitude.

Knowledge of Powermill advantageous but not essential.

Hourly rate £15-£19 + 33% when on nights

You will work on days for a couple of months before working nights

Monday-Thursday 6pm-6am 40 hours per week
