Skills in Fanuc/Heidenhain/Hurco (milling) or Mazak/DMG MORI (turning) are valued, as is ability to read drawings, select tooling and perform first-off inspections.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as CNC Miller or Turner in precision engineering/manufacturing.
• Experience with Fanuc/Heidenhain/Hurco controls; programming from scratch desirable.
• Mazak/DMG MORI turning experience; multi-axis/mill-turn advantageous.
• Able to set and operate CNC machines, select tooling, offsets and changes.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and maintain tolerances under inspection.

CNC Miller / CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator

Location: Liverpool & Surrounding Areas

Salary: £18.00 – £21.00 per hour DOE

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Haich Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced CNC Millers and CNC Turners for permanent positions with established precision engineering and manufacturing companies across Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking skilled machinists who can confidently set and operate CNC machinery, with programming experience particularly desirable. Positions are available across CNC milling, CNC turning and multi-axis machining, depending on individual experience.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a CNC Miller or CNC Turner within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment.
• CNC Milling: Experience with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Hurco or similar controls. Ability to programme from scratch is highly desirable.
• CNC Turning: Experience with Mazak, DMG MORI or similar CNC lathes. Multi-axis machining, live tooling or mill-turn experience would be particularly advantageous.
• Confident independently setting and operating CNC machinery, including tooling selection, offsets, changeovers and programme adjustments.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and manufacture components to required tolerances.
• Experience with programme prove-outs, first-off inspections and precision measuring equipment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability and commitment to producing high-quality components.
