Job summary

Manpower is seeking a CNC Miller - Setter-Operator based at Bristol on site for a 6-month term. The role involves setting up and operating 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines, reading drawings, and ensuring quality and on-time delivery of parts.

You will work to process requirements and join a team dedicated to precision manufacture. Experience with Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls, plus a strong eye for detail and problem solving, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with CNC milling and setting up jobs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with inspection tools such as micrometers, verniers and plug gauges.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3/4/5 axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain and/or Fanuc controls.
• Produce high complexity components from a range of materials.
• Adhere to quality standards and SQDCP processes.
• Ensure parts meet planned set and run times and quality requirements.
• Assist in improving 5S organisation and maintain accurate production records.
