Job summary

Hyde Group is recruiting two CNC Miller Operators for our Atherton manufacturing facility. You will set up and operate CNC milling machines using Heidenhain or Siemens controls, with experience on multi-pallet setups preferred. Aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel are common materials.

This is a day shift role (Mon–Thu 7:30am–4:00pm; Fri 7:30am–12:30pm) with overtime available. Hyde Group offers a competitive salary, generous holiday entitlement (25 days + 8 statutory), and strong career

Qualifications

• Setting and operating CNC milling machines with Heidenhain or Siemens controls.
• Experience on multi-pallet machines is beneficial.
• Experience machining aluminium, mild steel and stainless steel.
• Aerospace/Defence experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to producing parts.
• Maintain quality and accuracy to specifications.
• Work on a day shift: Mon–Thu 7:30–16:00 and Fri 7:30–12:30, with overtime available.

Job description

Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge, with a forward-thinking organisation within an advanced engineering sector? Hyde Group are established industry experts and has two vacancies for two CNC Millers working at our manufacturing facility in Atherton.

As a CNC miller you will have experience of operating a range of CNC Milling machines. It is essential that you can set and operate CNC Milling Machines that operate Heidenhein or Siemens controls. Previous experience of working on Multi Pallet machines would be of benefit.

Ideally you will also have experience of machining different types of materials, primarily Aluminium, Mild Steel and stainless steel. Experience in the Aerospace & Defence would be an advantage.
