Job description

CNC Miller required to join a manufacturing company that is based in the Tipton area. This company is looking for a CNC Miller that has experience with Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines. Ideally, the successful candidate will have some form of Programming experience also, either editing or programming from scratch.

CNC Miller Job Overview
  • Program Set and Operate Siemens controlled CNC Milling machines
  • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements.
  • Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to optimize performance and ensure tight tolerances.
  • Conduct regular inspections of produced parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc)
  • Maintain accurate records of setups, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
  • Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed
CNC Miller Job Requirements
  • Previous CNC Milling experience - Setting and Operating
  • Programming experience is advantageous
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with various materials
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
CNC Miller Salary & Benefits
  • Full time - Permanent position
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hour week (early finish on Friday)
  • Salary - £15 - £17 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Competitive annual leave
