Talent Finder is seeking a CNC Miller (5-Axis Setter/Operator) in Barnoldswick for a full-time position. You will set and operate 5-axis CNC milling machines, reading drawings and producing precision components to tight tolerances.

The role requires independent work with minimal supervision and a reliable, disciplined approach. On-site work, with salary £29,000–£32,000 plus shift allowance and overtime terms.

The Role

As a CNC Miller (5-Axis Setter/Operator), you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machinery to produce high-quality precision components. You will work predominantly independently on machines, while collaborating with the wider team when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
• Preparing machines and completing setups to meet production requirements
• Producing precision-engineered components to required specifications
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Checking finished components to ensure quality standards are maintained
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments where required
• Working independently on machines with minimal supervision
• Collaborating with the wider engineering team when required
