Our well-established client in Milton Keynes is recruiting for a CNC Miller Hypermill Programmer. They are looking for a hands-on Machinist/CAM Programmer (HyperMill/Hurco). This is a full-time permanent role based on 39 hours per week.

The Role:

1. Set, program, and operate CNC Milling Machinery to manufacture complex precision components accurately and to tight tolerances.
2. Read and interpret engineering specifications and drawings to ensure that components are machined effectively and efficiently.
3. Produce small, complex batches of components to quality standards and tight tolerances.
4. Use HyperMill CAD package to carry out offline programming when machining.

The Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Miller / CNC Programmer working to tight tolerances.
2. Extensive experience and knowledge of programming.
3. Apprentice trained with qualifications relevant to the precision engineering industry.
4. Previous experience working with HyperMill CAD Package.
5. Ability to work alone and as part of a team, with a drive to develop your career path.
6. Experience working in an ISO9001 environment.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5:15, Friday 8:30 – 3:00.
